College Assistance Migrant Program


In order to qualify for WSU CAMP, WSU student applicant must be:
1. U.S. Citizen or U.S. permanent resident
2. Eligible to receive Financial Aid (FAFSA) and 
3. Be a freshman applicant at WSU- Pullman


And meet ONE (1) of the following requirements:
1. Have direct experience working as a seasonal or migrant farmworker or have an immediate family member (parent, brother, etc.) that has worked at least 75 days in the past 2 years in migrant or seasonal farm working activities such as:
  • The cultivation and/or harvesting of agricultural produce (apples, cherries, corn, grapes, etc.)
  • Seasonal dairy
  • Poultry
  • Livestock production
  • Cultivation and/or harvesting of trees
  • Fish farming
2. Participated in a Migrant Education Program (MEP).
3. Enrolled in a High School Equivalency Program (HEP) within the last 12 months and completed your GED.
4. You or your parent participated in the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program Section (167).
