Long Sleeve and Food Clothing Drive

March 27-April 3 | Locations: Dining Centers, Multicultural Student Services (CUB Fourth Floor), the Chinook, Student Recreation Center, and Lighty Suite 260

Donate gently used or new clothing or pantry items to WA Migrant Clinics. These donations go directly to farmworkers. Gently used long-sleeve shirts, light in color and made of natural fabric, can help prevent exposure to pesticide residues and prevent suffering a heat-related illness.

    The Bandana Project

    Wearing a bandana is a visible way to show solidarity, spark conversation, and recognize the people who help bring food from the fields to our tables.

    Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlan (MEChA), the Women*s Center, and CAMP invite you to learn about what a bandana represents to our female farmworkers by decorating one on March 31. Visit the exhibit in CUE Building, Room 302 from March 31–April 6.

    Join CAMP in welcoming our keynote speaker Sylvia Zapata, Executive Director of the nonprofit Student Actions with Farmworkers. Reception and Meet and Greet will follow the keynote address from 6–7:30 p.m. in the Jordan Schnitzer Museum.
